Allan Kleynhans, a highly entertaining and thoroughly effective Professional Speaker and Peak Performance Coach, is an expert in assisting and empowering people and organisations to create sustainable change. A skilful facilitator and trainer, Allan has been studying the science of human behaviour, peak performance and success conditioning since 1988. An expert authority on the dynamics of human potential and self-esteem, Allan helps his clients create extraordinary results both personally and professionally. He regularly facilitates public and corporate seminars and workshops on personal development, emotional mastery and the psychology of leadership. His most requested corporate workshop is The Fire Walk Experience. In this highly-charged and interactive workshop delegates learn to transcend their fears and self-imposed limitations by walking barefoot across hot coals.

His initial interest in psychology began in 1987 when he realized support for South African soldiers who had been deployed and returned suffering with post traumatic stress disorder was non-existent, and in 1989 he left South Africa to further his education abroad. It was at this time that he was introduced to neuro-linguistic programming. He quickly became very adept at using the remarkable strategies of NLP to facilitate some very dramatic changes; in his own life, and in the lives of those he has coached since.

He is well traveled and has lived in London, Europe, Moscow and the United States, where he has been involved in several industries including sales, recruitment, IT, and banking.

In 2001, Allan returned to live in South Africa full time after a long spell of 12 years abroad. While in South Africa, he worked with companies such as SA Breweries, Pelican M.I.S. Systems, RE/MAX Address, NIMAS (Medical Aid Society), Maxiprest Tyres, Hirsch’s Homestores, Rennies Shipping, African Bank, National Ports Authority, Homenet, The Ignition Group, Boxer Superstores and Spar. He also worked with many of South Africa’s top rugby players and during the South African rugby season of 02/03, he worked with the Natal Sharks on their successful Currie Cup campaign.

Allan is a founding member of the Professional Speaking Association of Southern Africa and a regular contributor to the annual KZN Head Prefects Leadership Academy, which provides leadership training and mentoring for the Head Prefects of KZN district schools. Allan recently returned to the UK on a full-time basis and lives in Kent with his family.
